A biryani is a dish popular in the Indian subcontinent, which originated in the Persian Gulf region. The history of biryani goes back to the Moguls. In the Mogul courts, it was known as baghala khana, which means Rice House. In India, biryani varies in its ingredients and taste, depending on the region and the ethnicity of the the region. Biryani was introduced in India by the Mughals. They brought the recipe of biryani with them when they invaded India. The name biryani comes from the Persian word berya (or birian), which means fried before cooking. The special thing about a biryani is that it is served in layers. The rice is fried first before cooking and is then layered with the meat and vegetables. To cook a good biryani, there must be a good balance between the rice and the mixture. You can use different spices to cook a biryani. You can cook a simple biryani by just adding the meat and spices to the rice. Or you can cook a biryani with meat and vegetables as well. Biryani has become very popular in India and is often served at weddings and parties. Sac biryani essence
